What Customers Say

Not sure which service you need? Start with what you are noticing: a slow drain, rusty hot water, a smell, a stain or a bathroom you want to rebuild. We look at the actual cause, explain it in plain language, and recommend the repair that makes sense for your home.

What a Plumber Actually Takes Care Of

Plumbing is two systems that meet in every room. Supply lines bring pressurized water in. Drain lines carry used water out to the sewer, mostly by gravity. Water heaters, gas lines and treatment equipment sit in between.

Most of it is hidden behind walls or under a concrete slab. That is why problems tend to show up as symptoms first: a slow drain, a pressure drop, a damp spot or a smell. Finding the cause matters more than clearing the symptom.

Water coming in

Supply lines, shutoff valves and pressure regulators that feed every faucet and appliance.

Water going out

Drain lines under the slab and the main sewer line out to the street.

Hot water and gas

Tank and tankless water heaters, and the gas lines that feed them.

The finished room

Bathroom remodels built on plumbing that has been inspected and tested first.

What's Behind the Walls in an Older Home

Homes built before about 1980 often still run on original pipe. From the room, everything can look fine. Behind the tile and under the floor, the drains and supply lines may be as old as the house, with decades of repairs added along the way.

  • Cast iron drains

Common in older homes. They corrode from the inside and can crack with age.
  • Aging supply lines

Older galvanized or copper lines narrow inside and lower your water pressure.
  • Old valves

Shower valves and shutoffs from decades ago can seize, drip or fail to close.
  • Past DIY repairs

Rubber couplings and mismatched pipe are common finds once walls are open.

Hard Water in the East Valley

East Valley water carries a lot of minerals. You see it as white crust on faucets and spots on glass. Inside your plumbing, the same minerals settle in water heaters, clog aerators and build up in valves, which shortens the life of everything they touch.

  • Tank water heaters

Sediment settles at the bottom, causing popping noises and slower heating.
  • Tankless heaters

Scale coats the heat exchanger, so regular flushing matters.
  • Fixtures and valves

Cartridges stiffen, drip and wear out sooner than in softer-water areas.
  • Softening helps

A properly sized softener protects heaters, fixtures and appliances from scale.

Drains Under a Concrete Slab

Most East Valley homes are built slab-on-grade, which means the house sits on a concrete slab and the drain lines run underneath it. When one of those lines cracks, sags or fills with scale, you cannot see it. A sewer camera can.

  • Slow drains in several rooms

Often points to a problem in a shared line, not one clogged fixture.
  • Repeat clogs

Clearing the same drain again and again usually means the pipe itself has a problem.
  • Camera first

A camera inspection shows pipe material, condition and location before anyone breaks concrete.
  • Replace only what failed

Sometimes one section needs work, not the whole run. We tell you which.

Remodeling on Sound Plumbing

A new bathroom is only as good as the plumbing under it. If the walls are already open, this is the time to find out what condition the drains and water lines are actually in. Fixing them later means tearing out finished tile.

  • Inspect before demolition

Know the condition of the pipes before the design is final.
  • Plan fixture moves early

Moving a toilet or shower changes drain routes, often through concrete.
  • Test before covering

Every connection is verified before tile, drywall or a vanity goes over it.
  • One team

The plumber who inspects your drains also builds the finished room.

Knowing When Not to Replace

Not every old pipe needs replacing, and not every water heater is done. A good plumber tells you when a repair is enough. We show you what we find and explain the options, including the one that costs you the least.

  • Sound pipe stays

If the camera shows healthy cast iron, we leave it where it is.
  • Repair before replace

A failed part on a healthy water heater is often worth fixing.
  • You see the evidence

Photos and camera footage, explained in plain language, before you decide.

Every Service We Offer

Remodeling

Bathroom remodels that start with the plumbing. Renova is a licensed plumber and general contractor, so one team inspects the pipes, repairs what needs it and builds the finished room.

Bathroom Remodeling in Older Homes

Our flagship service for homes built before about 1980. We inspect the old drains and supply lines, repair what is failing, then build the new bathroom on plumbing that will last.

Bathroom Remodeling

Full bathroom remodels, from a simple refresh to a complete rebuild. Fixtures, valves, drains and finishes are planned together, and every connection is tested before it is covered.

Tub-to-Shower Conversions

Replacing an old tub with a walk-in shower. The drain, valve and waterproofing are the hard part, and that is where a plumber-led remodel makes the difference.

Drain & Sewer

Drain and sewer work for slab-on-grade East Valley homes. We inspect with a camera first, then repair or replace only what has actually failed.

Drain Line Replacement

Replacing drain lines that are cracked, sagging, scaled or corroded. We find the failing section with a camera and replace it with modern pipe.

Cast Iron Drain Replacement

Cast iron drains in older homes corrode and crack from the inside. We confirm the condition on camera, then replace the failing sections with PVC or ABS drain pipe.

Under-Slab Drain Replacement

When a drain fails under the concrete slab, we locate it, open only what is needed, replace the line, and restore the floor. Often done during a remodel.

Main Sewer Line Replacement

Replacing the main pipe that runs from your house to the city sewer when it is broken, collapsed or full of roots. Camera inspection comes first.

Sewer Line Repair

Fixing a damaged section of sewer line without replacing the whole run when the rest of the pipe is sound. We show you the footage before recommending anything.

Sewer Camera Inspection & Locating

A small camera run through your drains shows pipe material, cracks, roots and sags, and a locator marks exactly where they are. The starting point for any drain decision.

Plumbing

The supply side of the house: the pipes that carry water to every fixture and the gas lines that feed your appliances.

Whole-Home Repiping

Replacing old, corroded or failing water supply lines throughout the house. Better pressure, cleaner water and fewer leaks, planned to disturb as little of your home as possible.

Gas Line Installation

New gas lines for water heaters, ranges, dryers, fire features and outdoor kitchens. Sized for the appliance, pressure-tested, and ready for inspection.

Water Heaters

Tank and tankless water heaters, sized for your household and set up for East Valley hard water. We tell you honestly whether to repair or replace.

Water Heater Replacement

Replacing gas and electric tank water heaters, with the right size, a proper drain pan, expansion tank where needed, and code-compliant venting and connections.

Tankless Water Heater Installation

Upgrading to tankless for endless hot water and saved space. We check your gas supply, venting and water hardness first so the unit fits your home.

Water Heater Repair

Diagnosing no hot water, lukewarm water, leaks and strange noises. If a repair makes sense, we fix it. If not, we explain why.

Water Treatment

Protecting your plumbing and appliances from hard water, and improving the water you drink.

Water Softeners & Whole-Home Treatment

Water softeners, filtration and reverse osmosis systems sized for your household. Less scale on fixtures, longer-lasting water heaters and easier cleaning.

He grew up watching his dad run his own businesses, and spent over 15 years learning the plumbing trade properly. When the company he worked for was bought by investors and the focus moved to numbers, he left to build Renova his own way.

I started Renova to bring things back to what actually matters: honest work, quality craftsmanship, and treating customers the way I'd want my own family treated.

Luke Williams, owner

Today Renova is a licensed plumbing contractor and general contractor. That combination is rare. It means one accountable company coordinates the project from behind the walls and under the slab through the finished room on top of it.

How Working With Renova Goes

Service calls and remodels follow different paths, but the idea is the same. You talk to our local team, you see what we find, you get a clear number, and the work is done properly and tested.

How a Remodel Works

  1. Step 1: Initial conversation

Tell us what you are planning. We ask about scope, timeline, the design stage and whether you have a GC.

  2. Step 2: Site visit and review

We walk the space, review your plans and check the existing plumbing for anything that needs attention first.

  3. Step 3: Scope and estimate

You get a clear, line-item scope and an honest estimate before anything is committed.

  4. Step 4: Rough-in and build

The work is scheduled alongside the rest of the project. If anything unexpected turns up, you hear about it immediately.

  5. Step 5: Finish and walkthrough

Trim-out, fixtures and final testing. Every fixture is turned on and every drain verified before the job is closed out.

Yes. Renova is licensed, bonded and insured, and holds licenses as both a plumbing contractor and a general contractor. That lets one company handle the plumbing and the finished room on a remodel. Work is completed to code and left ready for inspection when a permit is required.

Outside business hours, call or text and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. For a burst pipe or a major leak, shut off the main water valve to your home first to limit damage. Knowing where that valve is before you need it saves time.

For most jobs, yes, we offer free visual estimates once we have seen the issue. If diagnosing the problem needs tools, camera work, testing or disassembly, a diagnostic fee may apply. Larger projects, such as remodel plumbing or drain replacement, usually need a site visit first. Either way, you have a clear number before any work begins.

We price each job after seeing it, because pipe condition, access and scope change the cost. You get a clear number, or a line-item scope on larger projects, before anything starts. If diagnosing the problem needs tools, camera work, testing or disassembly, a diagnostic fee may apply. If conditions change mid-job, you are told immediately.

Many jobs do, including water heater replacements, gas lines, sewer work and remodel plumbing. The rules are set by your city, so check with Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek, Tempe or Scottsdale for your project. When a permit is required, Renova coordinates it for the plumbing scope.

Yes. Renova regularly works as the plumbing partner on larger projects, coordinating the schedule with your GC and keeping the plumbing scope clean and accountable. If you don't have a GC, Renova is also a licensed general contractor and can handle the bathroom remodel from start to finish.
